Cookie Policy

Effective May 24, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how The DDS Company Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit theddshub.com (the "Site"). It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control their use.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function efficiently, provide reporting information, and assist with personalisation. Cookies set by the website operator are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website operator are called "third-party cookies."

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies — These cookies are essential for the Site to function. They enable core features such as security, network management, and accessibility. You cannot opt out of these cookies because the Site cannot operate without them.
  • Performance & Analytics — We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which collects aggregated, non-personally-identifiable traffic data. This does not use client-side cookies or track individual users across sites.
  • Preference Cookies — We use localStorage (a browser storage mechanism similar to cookies) to remember your cookie consent preference so you are not asked repeatedly.

3. Cookies Used on This Site

The following table describes the specific cookies and storage mechanisms used:

__cfruidCloudflareRate limiting — ensures fair usage and prevents abuse by tracking request frequency per session.Strictly NecessarySession

4. Service Worker & Offline Caching

The Site registers a service worker to enable offline access and improve load performance. The service worker caches static assets (stylesheets, scripts, images) locally on your device using the Cache API, which is distinct from cookies. Cached assets are automatically updated when new versions of the Site are deployed. You can clear this cache at any time through your browser's settings.

5. Third-Party Cookies

We do not use third-party advertising, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site analytics cookies. The only third-party cookies that may appear are those set by Cloudflare as part of their security and CDN infrastructure, as described in the table above.

For details on how Cloudflare processes data, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

6. How to Control Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. The methods for doing so vary by browser:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair the functionality of the Site, as Cloudflare's security features depend on them.

To clear your cookie consent preference stored in localStorage, open your browser's developer tools, navigate to the Application or Storage tab, and delete the dds-cookies-ok key under Local Storage for this domain.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. However, because we do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that identify individual users, the practical effect is equivalent to honoring a DNT request.

8. California & GDPR Disclosures

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell or share your personal information. The cookies listed above are used solely for the purposes described and do not constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law.

EEA/UK Residents (GDPR): Strictly necessary cookies are processed under our legitimate interest in maintaining the security and operation of the Site. For any cookies that are not strictly necessary, we obtain your consent through the cookie banner displayed on your first visit. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or localStorage.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly use cookies to collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this page periodically to stay informed. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.

11. Contact
